To Allah be the glory!

The Salam Sisters Association 6th Networking event on 10th February had a successful outcome. It was a remarkable day in the history of the Association. We felt honored to have very important personalities in attendance to grace the occasion. It was lovely to listen to The Lord Mayor of the city of Manchester, Councillor Yasmin Dar shared personal experience to empower the participants.

The Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain, Zara Mohammed delivered a motivational speech on 'Joyful journey of wellbeing and resilience for women'. Their thoughts enlightened us and showed us a new part. Most feedback was positive and participants left feeling empowered. The food was great too. Thanks to everyone involved in the planning. Alhamdullilah.
